Hitachi's Brushless Technology is delivered via a micro-processor chip. Located beneath the tool grip, it manages the tool's motor and makes the tool capable of advanced digital speed settings for ultimate precision and control by the user.

With the simple push of a button, the user can select from four different speeds. Coupled with the two-step gearing featured on drill series tools, this allows for eight different speed/power calibrations providing the user the ability to finely set the driver drill depending on the application.

High power HXP Li-ion battery technology reinvents the way the world uses cordless power tools. Three times longer run time, fade free power and almost half the weight of traditional Ni-Cd batteries. HXP batteries puts the user in complete control.

consistent power with no RPM slowdown unlike traditional Ni-Mh/Ni-Cd and other competitive Li-ion batteries.

Overall battery life is extended 3 times
longer than NiCd & NiMH batteries.
Light Weight
HXP Li-ion Batteries offer up to 40%
less weight than standard Ni-Cd/
Ni-Mh batteries.
